Before he founded TriState Capital Bank, James F. Getz established Federated Bank and Trust in Gibbsboro, New Jersey. At Federated, he served as President and CEO for more than 20 years and oversaw distribution to the banking and broker/dealer community through Federated Securities Corporation. Prior to founding Federated and TriState, Getz was Vice President of First Pennsylvania Bank, and Senior Trust Officer, Senior Investment Officer and Branch Manager of Girard Bank in Philadelphia.
James F. Getz holds a BA from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He earned an MA in History at Villanova University and completed additional graduate studies at Temple University.
A community leader, James F. Getz is a member of the board of directors at his alma mater, King’s College. He has also served as member of the board of directors at Shadyside Hospital Foundation. Getz supports the Little Sisters of the Poor, Oakland Catholic High School, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation, all based in Pittsburgh, as well as the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia.
